Welcome to the Virtual Conference on Chemistry and its Applications
The Virtual Conference on Chemistry and its Applications (VCCA-2021) will be held from 9 to 13 August 2021. It is organised by the Computational Chemistry Group of the University of Mauritius.
VCCA-2021 will be held online and there will not be the need to travel. There is no need to be always online as there will not be live presentations.
The virtual conference is endorsed by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) (https://iupac.org/event/chemical-sciences-for-the-new-decade/)
Theme: Chemical Sciences for the New Decade

Why to participate?
At the dawn of the new decade, research in Chemical Sciences can be useful in achieving some of the goals set by the United Nations for Sustainable Development Goals of our planet. It is equally important for researchers to communicate their research findings and be involved in a network within the scientific community. In view of our continuous effort to host virtual conferences and the current situation in the world, VCCA-2021 is an alternative to face-to-face meeting.
This virtual conference will provide an online platform for participants to present, share and discuss recent findings of their research covering all topics related to Chemistry and interdisciplinary Sciences. Virtual conference has gained popularity and its major advantage is the lower cost involved for participation. One simply has to have access to the Internet or email to be involved in the conference.
We look forward to welcoming you, academicians and researchers, to participate in this virtual conference.
Professor Ponnadurai Ramasami
Chairman of VCCA-2021
Personal Chair in Computational Chemistry, University of Mauritius
Visiting Professor, University of Johannesburg
Professor Extraordinarius, University of South Africa
