The first Virtual Conference on Computational Chemistry (VCCC-2013) was held from 1st to 31st August 2013. VCCC-2014 was held in August 2014. We are now planning for the third Virtual Conference, VCCC-2015, from 1st to 31st August 2015.

IYL_Logo_ColorLinear This virtual conference will also be held as part of the International Year of Light. Computational chemistry can also be used to complement research involving light based phenomena.

Chemistry is no longer about test-tubes and experiments alone, but it also involves the use of efficient and accurate computational methods.

Virtual conference has gained popularity and its major advantage is the lower cost involved for participation. One simply has to have access to the Internet or email to be involved in the conference.

VCCC-2015 is a convenient platform for researchers to present the results obained using computational methods.

On Wednesday 12th August 2015, we will mark the Schrödinger day.

We look forward to your participation.

  • There will be a call for abstracts.

  • Scientific committee will evaluate suitability of each submitted abstract.

  • For each accepted abstract, author/s will be invited to submit the presentation in MS Word, MS Powerpoint, PDF or any other relevant format. Some examples are:
    (1) PDF format (15-20 pages)
    (2) Powerpoint format (25-30 slides)
    (3) Video (10-15 minutes)

  • Presentations will be displayed on the website (secured).

  • Registered participants will be able to download all the presentations.
