3) The International Conference on Pure and Applied Chemistry (http://sites.uom.ac.mu/icpac2012/), 2nd-6th July 2012. There were 150 participants in this conference and one of the plenary speakers was Prof Robert Huber, the 1988 Chemistry Nobel Prize winner.

5) The International Conference on Pure and Applied Chemistry (http://sites.uom.ac.mu/icpac2014), 23rd-27th June 2014. There were 100 participants in this conference and the keynote address was delivered by Ambassador Mrs Grace Asirwatham, the Deputy-Directore of Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapon (OPCW). OCPW was the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize 2013.
